THE EPIDERMIS LAB

The Epidermis Lab is a one-person skincare studio run by owner and esthetician Timothy Carpenter Palmer. Every visit is booked by appointment, and the studio is open from 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Sunday. Clients arriving for an appointment call or text the studio and are met at the front entrance of Salon Row.

The studio organizes its work around three goals: healing, correcting and preventing skin concerns. Each treatment starts with an assessment of the skin as it is today, and the methods used are non-abrasive, evidence-based and adjusted to the individual client. The studio also states that single Corrective sessions can make a difference, while complex or ongoing concerns are usually better served by a series.

Facials are arranged in five levels. The Intro is a 60-minute first facial that includes a skin consultation, cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when appropriate, facial massage, LED therapy and home-care guidance. The Signature is a 90-minute maintenance facial with customized exfoliation, a treatment masque and lymphatic massage. The Corrective is a 90-minute facial for concerns that have not improved on their own, covering acne breakouts, congestion, dullness, pigmentation, texture, firmness and signs of aging. The Lab is a 105-minute full-experience facial that adds layered professional treatments and NeuroSculpt massage.

The Oncology facial is a 75-minute gentle option for clients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. It is adjusted to the client's current treatment and how the skin feels that day, and focuses on gentle cleansing, hydration, comfort and barrier support. The studio states that this service is certified in Oncology Esthetics through Circadia. The Peel is a 60-minute targeted peel done without a full facial, and it is not offered as a first-time appointment.

Packages bundle repeat visits at a lower combined price. The 8-Week Acne Plan includes an initial assessment and treatment, four 90-minute Corrective sessions, progress photos, personalized home care, a cleanser, daily SPF and a week-eight review. The Peel, Signature and Corrective Three Series are also available. Clients who already hold a package book as usual, and credits apply automatically at checkout. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, and later cancellations carry a fee of 20% of the service cost.
