The Dream House Hackensack

The Dream House works mainly as a hair salon, with lash extension and waxing services alongside. It has two locations, one inside Phenix Salon Suites in Paramus and one in Hackensack, and it is open seven days a week, with Saturday hours ending early in the afternoon.

Bridal work is a focus. The salon offers in-person consultations to plan looks from the engagement through the wedding day. Hair extensions are also a large part of the menu, and clients can have a complimentary consultation to talk through options before booking, followed by services such as tape-in and weft maintenance, refreshes and removal.

Treatments and upgrades can be added to haircuts and color, including hydration for dry or damaged hair, a scalp detox for oil and buildup, a shine refresher, Olaplex bond building, and express or keratin smoothing for frizz. The team uses products from Goldwell, Kenra, KMS, Matrix, Redken and Olaplex, and clients can buy those same brands to keep up their results at home. The salon says its professionals stay current on products and treatments through ongoing education.

The salon recommends booking by phone or online so that a time is held. Clients are asked to give 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Appointments cancelled with less notice carry a $25 fee, and no-shows are charged 50% of the booked services.
