Peter Borten and has operated for more than twenty years. The business describes itself as a wellness company focused on peace, and alongside spa treatments it offers tools and programs for self-care and healing. The Portland spa is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:15 PM, and the Boulder spa is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

About

In Portland, the menu covers massage, facials, Ayurvedic treatments, foot baths and spa packages. Foot baths are given in copper bowls, and some treatments take place in the Sangha Room, a community space that also suits group and private gatherings, where guests may bring beverages to private parties. The Portland location has a dry sauna, and a 30-minute sauna session is included with full body massages and facials.

The Boulder location centers on the Sanctuary, which has a cedar sauna, cold plunges, a cedar hot tub, steam, a salt room (halotherapy) and forest showers. Sanctuary Sessions can be booked alone or added to a treatment of 60 minutes or longer, and Boulder's Sanctuary is for guests 16 and older. Sound healing there is a 30-minute vibroacoustic session in the Sound Lounge.

Ayurvedic treatments are often booked as a course, since the business says benefits are greater over a series. Clients of Abhyanga, skin brushing and the Full Bliss Immersion are asked to arrive early for a short prakruti quiz used to select an essential oil blend. Guests should arrive 15 to 20 minutes before their first appointment, as late arrivals have services shortened and are charged in full. Cancellations made within 48 hours incur a 50% charge, and those within 24 hours are charged in full. Robes and sandals are provided for treatments, phones should be turned off in the Portland spa, and gratuity is separate from service prices, with a 20% gratuity applied to groups of six or more. Bookings can be made online, by phone or by text, and a credit card guarantee is required to schedule.

The business focuses on self-maintenance and healing, pairing spa treatments with Ayurvedic methods and self-care tools. Its stated aim is to help clients feel peaceful, centered and vibrant.

The Boulder Sanctuary has a forested, sauna-and-water setting, and the Portland spa has a community room and dry sauna.
