Every visit begins with a consultation covering the client's goals and hair history. In-salon consultations are free and take about 15 minutes, and clients can also book a virtual consultation by FaceTime with a stylist before scheduling. Complex corrective color and platinum bleach work both require a consultation first, whether in person, by video or by email.

The menu covers cuts from a fringe trim and barber cut up to a longer advanced cut, along with a range of color. Gloss, root touch-ups and highlights are offered in several sizes, from a mini highlight at the part to a maximum highlight with multi-step lightening. Bleach and tone services range from buzz-cut and touch-up sessions to a first all-over platinum application and a rescue for roots grown out more than an inch. Keratin smoothing comes in an express version that lasts up to 8 weeks and a classic version that lasts up to 5 months. Blow dries, event styling and a bridal trial round out the styling menu.

The salon is open Tuesday from 12 to 8 pm, Wednesday from 12 to 7:30 pm, Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, and is closed Monday, Friday and Sunday. Refunds are not offered on services, but a guest who is unhappy can email within a week after the visit to ask for an adjustment. Changes need at least 48 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged 50 percent of the booked services, and no-shows are charged the full amount. Gift cards are sold in amounts of $125, $250, $300, $500 or a custom value.
