The District Salon was established in February 2014 and works from two locations, one at 940 Canton Street in Roswell and one at 28 N. Main Street in Alpharetta. Co-owners Jessica Szabo and Mikka Orrick founded it together, and the owners set out to create a pampering space for clients.

Hair is the core of the menu.

Beyond hair, the salon offers eyebrow shaping and contouring, eyelash extensions, makeup, full body waxing, and sugaring.

Appointments and event bookings begin with a consultation, which can be arranged by phone on weekdays or by email at any time. The salon hosts girls' nights out, bachelorette parties and bridal showers, and blowouts are among the event options.

Most chair spaces are rented to licensed cosmetologists and estheticians, who are booked independently through their own contact. Full-time in-house cosmetologists can be booked directly by calling or emailing the salon.

The owners aimed to build a pampering space, and the salon uses Davines hair care, which it describes as good for the planet and for hair.

The salon describes its space as beautiful and hip, with a welcoming, family-like feel.
