The studio is owned and led by Daesha, a licensed esthetician and licensed esthetics educator who trained in oncology skin care. Daesha launched Shirley's Care, a program for people in cancer care, and also teaches aspiring estheticians. Daesha performs the studio's ombre powder brow service.

Visits begin with a conversation about skin. First-time facial clients book a custom facial with a consultation and are expected to buy the recommended home-care products. Facial and lash clients are asked to arrive with bare faces, and waxing clients should be hydrated and exfoliated beforehand. Chemical peels require a facial and consultation first, and collagen induction therapy cannot be someone's first service. Allergic reactions should be reported within 36 hours, or a medical professional should be consulted right away.

Online bookings need a 30% deposit, or clients can prepay the full appointment. Deposits hold the date and time and are non-refundable, though one transfer to a new date is allowed for illness at the owner's discretion. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before the start carry a 50% service charge, and appointments outside regular hours add a $50 fee. Booking opens 30 days ahead on the same date each month. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, with Wednesday evening hours, and closed Sunday and Monday.
