The Consultant Clinic describes itself as a non-surgical aesthetics group. Its clinics are spread across the UK, Ireland, the USA, the UAE and Australia, and the group lists offices in cities such as London, Manchester/Wilmslow, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Belfast, Glasgow, Dublin, Dubai, Paris, New York, Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Napa, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami Beach and South Yarra in Melbourne. Several sites sit inside shared medical buildings, such as a dental practice in Dublin or a medical quarter in Edgbaston.

Injectables are the centre of the menu. Anti-wrinkle treatment is given using Allergan Botox only, and the clinic says it does not use other botulinum toxin brands. Lip augmentation uses hyaluronic acid fillers and a blunt cannula technique through entry points, performed under a full dental block anaesthetic. Jawline and chin treatment takes about 20 minutes and uses a cannula and needle, with local anaesthetic if needed. Cheek and midface augmentation uses dermal fillers given by injection, takes about 20 minutes, and is also given by cannula and needle with local anaesthetic if needed.

The menu also lists liquid rhinoplasty, profile balancing, gummy smile treatment, Profhilo, tear trough correction and corrective work. The clinic says full face rejuvenation is not sold as a single package. Each treatment is priced separately and often takes several sessions.

Before anti-wrinkle treatment, clients have a detailed consultation with a doctor, and photographs are taken for the client's record. The clinic says its team includes several doctors and dentists who may consult each other on cases, and that its practitioners are insured and qualified for these procedures and for training other doctors in aesthetics. A case study by one of its doctors was entered in the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards in 2018, which the clinic says it won.

Booking is online, with a mobile booking link. Clients read and accept treatment information packs before booking. A non-refundable booking fee secures an appointment slot and can be used toward treatment on the first appointment day only. Booking fee appointments can be moved to within two weeks of the original date with two weeks' notice, without losing the fee. Formal complaints must be made in writing; the clinic acknowledges them within two working days and aims to reply within 20 working days.

The clinic works consultation first, with a doctor reviewing the client before anti-wrinkle treatment and photographs kept on file. It states that results may vary from person to person and from treatment to treatment.

Rooms sit in a mix of period buildings, from a Georgian-fronted office in central Leeds to a restored Victorian townhouse on Malone Road in Belfast.
