The Color Bar Salon Hemet

The Color Bar Salon has two locations, in Corona and Hemet, California. The Corona salon opened in April 2020 under owner and master stylist Janet, whose salon career began in 2001 in Newport Beach. The business is her fourth salon opening.

The menu is organized into color, cuts, extensions, hairpieces and wigs, hair replacement, waxing, makeup, nails, perms, scalp work, styling and treatments. Color ranges from per-foil and toner services to balayage, ombre, highlights and lowlights, peek-a-boos and money pieces, and organic color can be requested. Formal updos and blow-outs are offered for events and weddings. Hours run Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm, with Sunday visits by appointment. Bookings of an hour or more require a credit card on file. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours can bring a cancellation warning, and a no-show is charged 25% of the booked services. Clients who miss twice may be limited to walk-in visits or to appointments held by card. Color correction begins with a free consultation and a signed waiver, and it can take a full day or several visits. Clients are asked to disclose past treatments, including home color, medications, hennas and supplements. The salon says it cleans and disinfects tools and surfaces diligently. Card information is processed under PCI Data Security Standards and stored remotely. The salon also says it guarantees clients will love their new hair, the price paid and their visit.

The salon says it puts the integrity of clients' hair ahead of charging more.

The salon describes its setting as stylish but relaxed, with an easygoing upscale feel.
