The Chair HTX began among a group of friends and operates as a boutique salon in Central Heights. The salon aims for a home-like feel from the moment clients walk in.

The salon says it welcomes every kind of person and believes that feeling good is a form of beauty. Each look is shaped collaboratively, with the client's input guiding the outcome.

New color clients receive a complimentary consultation before booking. Clients are asked to keep a card on file to reserve their appointment. Each stylist books through Square, reached from the stylist's page, and clients running late are asked to text their stylist with an estimated arrival time. Cancellations need 24 hours notice to avoid a fee of up to 50% of the service, and a no-show or no-call is charged the full service amount. Fees can be applied to a later appointment, so clients should ask their stylist for details. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday 9:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm, and can be reached on Instagram at @thechairhtx.
