Services cover braids, extensions, blowouts and silk presses, color, cuts and texture treatments. Braids can be booked in the salon or as house calls, and installations require an extensions consultation before booking. The salon also offers $5 consultations for color and for extensions, and a free braiding chat by FaceTime with the braider.

Prices vary by service. A silk press starts at $125, a Braid Takedown with reset starts at $355, and extension methods range from Micro Links starting at $400 to Micro Links I-Tips starting at $1,275. Existing salon clients can book Lux Blowout or Lux Silk Press maintenance packages, which include a rebuild treatment and dusting trim.

Booking requires a credit card and a 20% deposit, and cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Clients have a 15-minute grace period, after which a $15 late fee applies for each 15 minutes. Wigs for laundering should be dropped off at least 48 hours ahead. The salon is open Wednesday through Saturday, parking is metered, and the space offers disabled access, WiFi, and beer and wine.
