Walk-ins are welcome when the schedule allows. Booking requires a $50 deposit that is counted toward the total and is not refunded if the client cancels.

Appointments can be changed up to three times. The first change is free, a second change requires an extra $40 deposit, and a third change requires contacting the stylist directly. Clients who arrive up to 15 minutes late are charged $25 if they call ahead and $40 if they do not. Arrivals up to 30 minutes late are accepted with a call ahead; after that the appointment must be rebooked. Clients with short hair, meaning about 2 to 3 inches or less for braids, should say so when booking, as a $50 short hair fee applies.

The BraidBus mobile service sends a traveling stylist to an agreed address. The travel fee depends on distance and time, and a trip to Waldorf is listed at $60. Mobile visits require a $50 nonrefundable deposit, address changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and mobile stylists do not carry cash.

The shop also runs a monthly braid class on the last Sunday of each month from 2 to 6 pm for $300, which includes supplies, a mannequin head and hair for extension practice. Students pay a $100 nonrefundable deposit in advance and the remaining $200 on arrival. Classes cover box braids, knotless braids, feed-in cornrows, every style of twist, and faux locs including hygiene and maintenance.
