The salon is run by co-owners Tyler and Whitney, and it works with each client on education, positivity and personal identity rather than offering one set routine.

Visits are relaxed. Coffee, water, sodas, snacks and drinks are offered during appointments, and clients who are working can use a lap desk and extra seating. The salon also has its own playlist, TB&TB On-Hair Volume 1, on Apple Music, with about 11 hours of music. A free consultation is offered for new clients and for anyone unsure of the direction they want their hair to take.

The menu is grouped into color, custom blonding, cutting, styling and add-ons. Color ranges from maintenance glosses and classic color to total custom color, transformation color and corrective color, which is priced by project scope and the products used. Cuts include face framing, barber and fade work, short and long craft cuts, and transformation cuts. Blowouts come in standard, glam and XL versions, and there are event styles with updos, half-up or fully down looks, plus a curly hair treatment that starts with a hair and scalp analysis.

Booking runs through the online system, which also takes payment, and a credit card is required to book. Payment is due when the service is complete. Cash must be exact and receives 3% off, and Venmo is accepted. Same-day cancellations carry a 50% fee and no-shows a 100% fee, with one fee per client waived. Redos are offered instead of refunds, and parking is free on the street for an hour or in the nearby garage for two hours. Mobile atelier services are available for clients who prefer not to drive.

The salon says its approach to hair changes with each client, building confidence while offering relaxing and foundational services. It values individuality, personal style and elevated experiences.
