The Mediterranean-style building draws on Italian, Moorish and Spanish influences, with painted frescos, travertine floors, marble columns and carved mahogany furnishings.

The Biltmore Spa covers 12,000 square feet and includes eucalyptus steam rooms and Himalayan salt saunas. It is open daily from 10am to 7pm, and guests must be 18 or older to book services. Treatments include facial dermaplaning, a cosmetic exfoliation that gently removes the top layer of skin and small hairs, and semi-permanent lip blushing, with pigment shades chosen for different skin and lip tones. IV therapies, with nine treatment options, are administered by a nurse and booked in advance. Beauty consultations with a spa professional produce a personalized program covering hair, skin and nails.

The salon offers cosmetic treatments, hair, makeup, nail, brow, lash and waxing services for men and women. Visits range from a quick blow-out to full makeup and styling for special occasions. The Big Day package brings hair, makeup and nail services for a party to the salon and spa or to a guest suite. The Spa Boutique on the 7th floor sells skincare, body, hair and well-being products, candles, elixirs, jewelry from local designers and casual apparel, and includes a BABOR Beauty Bar.

Cancellations made within 24 hours, rescheduling, no-shows and late arrivals are charged in full, so a 24-hour notice is needed to change an appointment. A 20% gratuity is added automatically to bills and can be adjusted on request. Salon bookings can be made by phone at 305 913 3187.

Memberships include a fitness membership and a golf membership, both subject to capacity limits for golf. The 10,000-square-foot fitness center has Technogym equipment, locker rooms with steam and a sauna, and more than 50 group classes each week. Members also receive savings at the hotel's restaurants, bars and spa, and on hotel stays.

Spa services start with a personalized consultation and are booked by advance reservation, with some treatments offered by appointment only.

The setting is a historic Mediterranean-style hotel with painted frescos, stone floors and carved wood furnishings.
