The Bikini Spa

The Bikini Spa opened two weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. The salon describes itself as an expert in waxing, peels and newer skincare methods, and it began as a waxing service and grew to address skin concerns more broadly.

Treatments are adjusted to each client's skin profile. The business uses high-quality, sustainable products and aims to explain to clients what their skin needs and how to care for it between visits.

Visits are by appointment only. Bikini waxing and the Bikini Peel are the core services, alongside other advanced skincare treatments. The team updates its techniques as new skincare methods become available.

The business also trains others. It runs one-on-one and team training for licensed professionals and a wax technician license program at the Hampton Roads Cosmetology Training Center that covers all aspects of waxing, including sugaring.
