The Beauty Suite was formed as a limited liability company in 2022 to give beauty entrepreneurs a place to start and grow their own businesses, with mentoring and training along the way. It is a Salon Suites company for independent solo owners in beauty and wellness, and it now has a team of 33 service providers across three locations in Riverside.

The business was started and is co-owned by Judy and Janneth, who are both licensed estheticians. They work hands-on in the business and keep their own client books. Managers Amanda and Kim are the team's day-to-day contacts for providers and keep the spaces clean and stocked with supplies and drinks.

Each provider runs an independent business but works within a shared team, so clients can expect a similar experience regardless of who they book. Providers receive mentorship and coaching, including quarterly team meetings. Providers who want to join can be placed on a waitlist when the team is full.

The services on offer span lashes, lash lifts, facials, skin care, brows, brow lamination, waxing, massage therapy, hair, hair extensions, nails, body contouring, scalp treatments, permanent and paramedical tattoos, lip blush, lip infusions, and listings for Botox, PRP and post-op lymphatic drainage. Because so many kinds of care are under one roof, the business describes itself as a one-stop spa.

Visits are by appointment only, seven days a week. Clients are asked to arrange childcare before they book, to reschedule if they feel unwell, and to keep the waiting area quiet because many services are happening at the same time. While they wait, clients can be offered a beverage and can watch a TV that shares team and promotion information.

The team also takes part in the local community, adopting the Indiana Avenue stretch with routine street cleanings and graffiti removal.

The business aims to offer a clean, calm and safe experience for every client, with independent providers working as one team and supported by ongoing mentorship.
