The Beauty Room opened in 2018 under owner Gina Marie Tiberi, who set out to create a family-friendly salon in downtown Larchmont. The salon describes itself as more than an ordinary salon.

Haircut and styling services include free consultations, children's cuts, blowdries with or without curls, and updos. The color menu centers on Goldwell products and ranges from glazes and color melts to full highlights, face frame and crown highlights, and kids' color or ombre. Keratin treatments are offered in several levels, including Magic Sleek and Cezanne options. Bridal services cover flower girl styling, bridesmaid and bridal updos, and a bridal trial. Hair extensions require a free consultation first, and the extension techniques, which include tape-ins, wefts and keratips, are offered through The Hair Shop in New York City.

Appointments can only be made by calling the salon at 914 630 7000. Questions can also be sent to salon@thebeautyroomny.com. Blowdry bundle packs of three, six or twelve come at a set price that already reflects a 20 percent discount.
