About

The Beach Hut is a franchise business, and each location is independently owned and operated. The company says it has provided guest services for over 20 years. It also runs a mobile kiosk that moves around the streets of Key West. St. Pete Beach, Wesley Chapel and Destin are listed as coming soon.

The menu is built around braiding, wraps and body art. Sea shell braids are a seashell-on-string braid and the business's signature style. Hair wraps use a proprietary wrap in a range of colors, finished with designer charms, and extensions are offered as well. Henna and temporary tattoos are done with henna and temporary tattoo ink that the business describes as high quality, and body jewelry is also offered.

Event services bring the same braids, wraps and temporary tattoos to parties, festivals, corporate events, school functions and birthdays. Services can be set up indoors or outdoors at a spot the customer picks. Event bookings are requested through an online form that asks for the date, event type and address. Seasonal Application Specialists greet guests, explain services and handle checkout, and the business says it trains new hires for the role.
