About

The Artisan Parlor has operated since 2017 from unit 103 at 41925 5th St in Temecula. It is appointment-only and not open to walk-in visitors. Its work is done by independent hairstylists, and pricing reflects each artist's experience level and specialization. The salon describes its space as gothic romance and speakeasy-inspired, and states a vision of pairing timeless craftsmanship with modern artistry.

Core services include balayage, extensions, modern color transformations and precision haircutting. Highlighting is done with sectioning and foil techniques, aimed at dimension and blondes. Blowouts include a shampoo, a scalp massage and a round-brush finish. Color corrections and transformations are handled by Senior and Master artists. Retail hair care is sold through the website shop, and in-house extension hair is sold under the Lauren Slays Luxury Hair name while in stock. According to the salon, photos are edited to show guests' true appearance.

Caribou Crown Club is a monthly blowout membership at $115 per month, billed on the same day each month with no long-term contract. Each membership blowout includes a customized wash, scalp massage and round-brush finish, performed by Artisan Interns or Protégé Stylists, who are described as licensed and supervised. Members get 10% off select salon services, including blowout upgrades and styling add-ons, and 10% off retail products and in-house extension hair in stock. Each member receives one guest pass for a complimentary blowout for a friend. Membership is capped at 100, with a waitlist once it is full, and appointments are booked online in advance. Unused blowouts do not roll over.

The salon runs a 10-week intern program covering salon foundations, blowouts, color theory, haircutting, highlighting and blonding. The first 10-week phase is unpaid and focused on education. Applicants still in beauty school may apply up to 30 days before graduation. Weekly live education is held Wednesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the salon closes for those sessions. Progression runs from Intern to Protégé to Junior Stylist. Graduates can rent a chair for $10 per hour and receive a $250 hair color credit. According to the salon, its education curriculum is detailed and structured, and the salon has a hiring page for intern and booth rental positions.

New guests secure an appointment with an active card on file or a non-refundable retainer of 20% of the service total, with a $40 minimum. Cancellations with at least 48 hours' notice carry no penalty; later cancellations require a new retainer or incur a 30% late cancellation fee. No-shows and same-day cancellations may be charged up to 50% of the service total, and arriving more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show. Cut and color redos are offered once within two weeks of the original service. Completed services are not refunded, while product refunds or exchanges are honored within two weeks of purchase. A quality guarantee covers premature color fading and hair health when the recommended take-home products and at-home care are used. Junior Artists' results are not guaranteed, and Salon Artist, Senior or Master Stylists are recommended for advanced techniques. Children are welcome only when receiving a service and may not be left unattended, and guests with a fever in the last 48 hours are asked to reschedule.

Pairs traditional craftsmanship with a modern creative approach, guided by stated principles of excellence, integrity, artistry and mastery.

The space is styled with a gothic romance and speakeasy-inspired feel, according to the salon.
