The AromaRoom was founded by attorney Shayla Webb to give people a place to slow down, recharge and focus on their well-being. The business is located at 762 S. Rangeline Rd in Carmel City Center and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from noon to 6pm.
Every visit takes place in a fully private suite, and guests never share a room with others. Robes, slippers, towels and complimentary tea are provided. Guests may bring a swimsuit and shower shoes, and they may bring others to share a private session. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome, and temperatures are adjusted for younger guests.
Steam sessions use aromatherapy in a private steam suite, offered as 30- or 45-minute visits. Salt therapy, also called halotherapy, is done in private suites with sauna options, ranging from salt alone to salt with infrared heat at different temperatures. Massage suites include Ride the Wave, a 20-minute hydromassage where the guest stays fully clothed and dry, with adjustable water pressure that can be set firmer for a deep-tissue style feel, and Fire & Ice, a chair-based cryomassage that combines assisted stretching, massage and alternating heat and cold.
IV hydration drips are given by a Registered Nurse and overseen by physicians, in partnership with Restore Hyper Wellness. A medical professional from that partner reviews each guest's health information and decides whether IV hydration is appropriate. The Cold & Flu drip includes Toradol only for guests who are in pain.
Memberships (Bloom, Infuse and Immerse) provide monthly steam, salt and hydromassage sessions along with percentage discounts on add-ons and upgrades. Packages bundle several sessions together, and the business also hosts private events and group gatherings for up to 25 guests in Carmel City Center. Off-site events can include an aromatherapy station where guests make their own roll-ons, sprays and scent blends. Wellness eGift cards are available in set amounts or a custom amount.
