Visits are by appointment only, Tuesday through Saturday, with no walk-ins. Each client has a private suite with vintage, old-world styling, and coffee or champagne is served during the visit. Clients may come alone or bring a companion. Consultations are private and do not require a reason. A short video introduction of about ten minutes is available before booking. The $100 consultation fee is applied to a wig, topper or extensions purchase made within 30 days, and it is forfeited for a cancellation. Nothing is decided at the consultation unless the client is ready.

Extensions include K-tips, I-tips, tape-ins and sew-in wefts. Color is matched in person against hair samples, with gray blending included and client approval before installation. Installation takes place in a single private session that includes cutting, blending and styling. Maintenance move-ups follow a schedule set at the first appointment. Hair toppers come on silk top and lace top bases in small, medium and large sizes, and the topper service covers color matching, customization, a fit and styling appointment, and care education. Wigs are made from human hair in lace front and silk top constructions, either stock or custom-fit, and custom wigs can be built from a mold of the client's head.

A hair loss program covers thinning, hair loss and regrowth. It serves people whose hair is thinning with age or after menopause, people with alopecia, people losing hair during cancer treatment or regrowing it afterward, new mothers regrowing hair after pregnancy, people with trichotillomania, and people with genetic patterns of loss. Visitors arrive from Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Homewood and Cahaba Heights, plus the wider Birmingham area, and some make the trip from Atlanta, Nashville, Mobile or New Orleans. Out-of-town guests can book their visits to fit into one trip. According to the salon, it has served hundreds of clients.

Color is matched in person rather than to a chart, and clients take part in an unhurried consultation before anything is decided. The salon describes its approach as private and matched to each client, and density is built toward how the client looks on their best day.
