The salon was started in 2018 by Rita Natasha, along with her sister-in-law and her brother. Rita's interest in hair began in junior high school, when she started braiding her classmates' hair.

The salon's approach centers on hair education and on each client's own hair journey. Stylists use a range of methods and styling recipes chosen for how long a style lasts and how it looks. The mission is to support healthy hair, skin and nails from the inside out, and the team explains how a healthy lifestyle and everyday body care contribute to those goals over time.

The salon is open Wednesday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with other days available by appointment. Services cover sew-in, K-tip and hybrid hair extensions, natural hair services such as blowouts, loc care, loc maintenance and braids, custom hair color, facials and skin treatments, esthetics, nail art and designs, lash services, and relaxation and massage-style sessions for pains and aches. Yoni steams can be booked with the wellness specialist. Parking is available, and the salon accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard and Chase QuickPay. Gift certificates are available on request.

The salon offers branding shoot packages that include a storyboard strategy call, unlimited hair and makeup looks, photo edits and optional video add-ons. The one-time package runs 2 to 4 hours and is listed at $1,999.99 to $2,999.99. A subscription is listed at $549.99, billed bi-monthly for one year, with 2-hour shoots. Extra individuals in a shoot cost $75 each, with up to 3 people allowed including the client.

Refunds are not offered for completed hair services, so clients are encouraged to raise any concerns during the visit. Hair service concerns must be raised within 60 days of the appointment, and skin and nail service concerns within 24 to 48 hours. A complimentary follow-up appointment is offered to make adjustments for service concerns.
