Texas Injector

The Texas Injector is an injectables practice based at the Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery & Laser Center, with one location on the third floor of the Lemmon Avenue building in Dallas and another in Frisco. Rachel New, PA-C, leads the practice. The business says it believes everyone is naturally beautiful and unique, and it aims for natural, restorative results. It describes itself as a top aesthetic injector in the DFW area and as a place where a wide range of injectable services can be found in one spot.

Injectable services include Botox, dermal filler, lip filler, Kybella, Sculptra, PDO threads and hair restoration. Microneedling is listed under skin treatments, along with skincare products sold through the Lemmon Avenue site shop. Newer patients can start by filling out an online consultation request form, which asks for a front photo and two profile photos taken in natural light without makeup. Virtual consultations are also offered.

Injecting appointments run Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 3pm. Weekend and evening appointments are available by special request.

After treatment, the practice advises patients not to rub or manipulate the treated area, to avoid lying down for four hours, and to wait six to 12 hours before applying makeup over the area. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications are advised against right after treatment. Bruising is described as rare and usually clears within seven to 10 days. Neuromodulator results typically begin to appear three to five days after treatment, with the fullest effect up to two weeks out. These results are not permanent and usually last about three to four months, sometimes up to six.

The practice also explains that tretinoin is a prescription form of vitamin A that is stronger than retinol, and that retinoids increase sun sensitivity, so they should be stopped at least a week before laser treatments.
