Teal & Gray

Teal & Gray is an electrolysis studio at a suite in The Colony, Texas. The business is also shown on its website as Inside of Altered States. Electrolysis is the only service offered, and owner Lucy Terribile is the only person who treats clients.

New clients begin with a free 30-minute consultation, which is required before any treatment. It is used to decide whether electrolysis is the right fit and to confirm the studio can treat the client. Established clients then book by appointment length: a 15-minute or shorter session for touch-ups or for the upper lip or eyebrows, and longer sessions of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Prices run from $50 for the shortest session to $190 for the longest.

Clients are asked to arrive moisturized and hydrated. If a client cannot keep an appointment, the studio asks to be told as soon as possible so it can reschedule.

The studio is open Monday from 2 PM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, and Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The website has a contact form for sending questions directly to Lucy.

Electrolysis is the sole method, and every appointment is handled by the same practitioner, with a consultation before the first treatment.
