Tea started Tea Madison Salon after about 15 years at Les Scissors, a family-owned salon in Sugar Land. The space is designed to feel calm, with ambient lighting and a shampoo area meant for relaxation.

The menu covers men's and women's haircuts, root gray coverage and root touch-ups, full-head color, balayage and highlights. Men's haircuts are $35, women's short or shoulder-length cuts $60 and long cuts $70, and cuts include shampoo and blow-dry. Gray coverage within about an inch of regrowth is $105 and includes shampoo and blow-dry. Highlights are priced by how much of the head is done and by foiling density, with medium and heavy dense foiling offered. Balayage, multi-service visits and roots-to-ends highlights for long hair require a consultation first.

Nagomi is a calming, renewal-focused ritual with a Japanese inspiration. It borrows techniques from Japanese head spas but is not a full Japanese head spa, and the salon plans to open a full head spa in a dedicated room at a later date. Each session features dimmed, gentle lighting, relaxing background sound, a warm eye covering and scented steam towels, using Goldwell shampoo. A 15-minute shampoo ritual can be attached to any hair service for $35. The Classic add-on takes the place of the standard shampoo for $35 and covers scalp massage, a hair mask, an eye warmer, steam towels and blow-dry preparation. The signature ritual is a standalone service lasting roughly 45 to 50 minutes, with scalp exfoliation, hand and arm massage and a blowout, at an introductory price of $65. The premium version lasts about 60 minutes and adds longer relaxation, facial massage and additional massage, at an introductory price of $85. The facial massage is not a medical or dermatological treatment and includes no chemical peels or prescription treatments.

Treatments include deep conditioning at $35, color toning and gloss or shine toning at $50 each, and Olaplex bonding and strengthening at $50. Additional charges may apply for extra density or very long hair, and any extra cost is discussed before service begins.
