Taylor Murray Aesthetics is run by Taylor Murray, a lash artist and lash extension trainer. The studio offers lash extension services for clients and training for lash artists, and the two sides are closely linked. Clients come for extensions, lifts and removal, while artists come for courses and mentoring.

Extension services are timed around when a client had their last fill. A touch-up within 7 days, a fill 8 to 14 days out, and a longer fill 15 to 21 days out each have their own price and appointment length. Clients who go past 22 days need a full set. Someone who had extensions applied by another artist can book a transfer fill, which includes a 20-minute consultation and requires at least half of the extensions to remain and 21 days or less since the last visit. If a set can't be filled safely, the old set is removed and a new full set is booked instead. Full sets are mapped to each client's eye shape and features, with extensions placed by hand, and every full set includes the Essentials Aftercare Kit. Lash extension removal uses a special remover and is done by a trained technician.

Training is a major part of the business. The Murray Method Professional Lash Training is a course Taylor Murray created. It focuses on the reasons behind techniques, starting with adhesive chemistry and lash health, and includes two full days of hands-on work with real models. Small group training is a two-day quarterly course with a handwritten manual, a professional kit and a certificate, and it is open to licensed and state certified artists as well as students enrolled in cosmetology, esthetician or lash artist programs. One-on-one training is two days of individual instruction with a manual, a professional kit and certification. The studio describes its one-on-one training as more than a quick certification. Murray Method students have mentorship included and don't pay for mentor calls. Artists who did not train with Taylor Murray can book a one-hour private mentor call.

Booking details: the studio is open Monday 11 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday to Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday 12 PM to 5 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 5 PM, and closed Sunday. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a charge of 50% of the appointment fee applies if that is missed. Some in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000 can be paid with Buy Now, Pay Later, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

Education comes first: the Murray Method teaches the reasons behind each technique, starting with adhesive chemistry and lash health, rather than steps alone.
