Before a waxing appointment, hair should be about a quarter inch long, so clients are asked not to shave, trim or cut it beforehand. Waxing can be done during a menstrual cycle; clients are advised to bring a fresh tampon or cup and can reschedule if they feel uncomfortable. Booking requires some notice. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Late arrivals have a 10-minute grace period, after which the appointment may be cancelled, so clients are asked to text if they are running behind. No-shows and last-minute cancellations forfeit the deposit and require full payment before rebooking.
