Teress Wallace opened the salon in April 2016, and it now operates from Fishers and Carmel. The salon says its aim is for clients to feel listened to and understood and to leave feeling confident, and it describes its greatest reward as client happiness.
The salon works as a space for independent stylists, each running their own business inside it. Each stylist sets their own hours, pricing, services and product lines, so these can differ from one stylist to the next. Stylists have access to the salon seven days a week, and there is no receptionist on duty at either location.
Clients book through the booking link of the stylist they choose, or by speaking with the nearest stylist, calling their preferred location, or using the website. If a requested time is unavailable, staff will help find an open stylist and book the first slot that fits the client's schedule. Whether to wash hair beforehand depends on the stylist and the booked service, and stylists give instructions after booking. To cancel, clients contact their stylist first and call the salon if the stylist cannot be reached. Website contact form messages are answered within one to three business days.
Clients can share photos of the look they want and describe what they like and dislike to guide the result. The salon describes its menu as offering a wide range of options, and the Meet Our Stylists page lets clients search by location and by service.
Each stylist works independently, and clients can guide the result with reference photos and notes on their likes and dislikes.
