Tangled + Teased Salon

Tangled + Teased Salon is a full-service hair salon on Sloan Street in McDonough. Co-owners Christine Clarke and Lindsey Coggins both work as stylists alongside the rest of the team.

The salon's stated mission centers on personal attention, clients' overall well-being and ongoing training for its stylists. According to the salon, it aims to set itself apart in the community.

Consultations can be booked by phone or through online booking. Walk-ins are welcome, though calling ahead is recommended to secure a time. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and closed on Sundays.

Extensions are a major part of the menu. Beaded weft extensions use real human hair attached to natural hair with silicone-lined beads and typically take no more than about two hours to apply. Fusion extensions are bonded with keratin tips and usually last three to four months, and they are the most expensive extension option. Clip-in extensions are temporary and reusable. The salon states all of its stylists have completed specialized extension training and certification.

Policies to know before booking: new clients and any service over $150 require a non-refundable deposit. Cancellations and reschedules should be reported in advance, and repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may lead to a deposit for future bookings. Children under 10 are not served unless a stylist approves in advance, and guests are asked not to bring young children or others who are not getting services. Pets are not allowed, per the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. If a guest is not satisfied, the original stylist will make corrections within 7 days of the service.
