Tamed Beauty is a waxing studio in South Jordan, Utah, focused on hair removal for the underarms, bikini area and legs. Every service on the menu is a waxing service, so the business is built around that one specialty.

The underarm wax uses soft wax and takes about 20 minutes. The business says results can last several weeks, compared with a day or two after shaving. The standard bikini wax takes about 20 minutes and covers the bikini line and a band extending roughly four finger-widths in from it, but it does not include the area between the cheeks. The tight bikini wax takes about 30 minutes, covers a narrower band from the bikini line, and includes the area between the cheeks.

The Brazilian wax takes about 30 minutes and covers the front, with an option to leave a strip or patch, plus the area between the cheeks. The business notes that a first Brazilian wax will not leave skin completely smooth, and that smoothness builds over consistent visits. It recommends rebooking every four to six weeks for this service. Leg services include a half leg wax, where the client chooses upper or lower leg and which takes about 30 minutes, and a full leg wax, which takes about an hour.

Before a leg appointment, the business asks clients to physically exfoliate their legs 24 hours ahead. Hair should be at least a quarter inch long, which is typically two to three weeks of growth after shaving. Additional waxing services can be added to a booked main service.

Booking is by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. Cancellations and rescheduling need at least 24 hours' notice. Cancelling after that window is charged 50% of the booked services, and a no-call, no-show is charged the full amount. The studio accepts Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Venmo and cash. It is not a kid-friendly space and does not accept children. Open hours are Monday and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. It is closed on weekends.
