Taesthetics, also known as Taesthetics Salon, operates from Suite B1-12 in the Mililani Shopping Center. The menu is organized around brows, lashes, facials, permanent makeup, waxing, sugaring and threading, with prices listed as starting points for many services.
The salon was founded by owner Taylin, who began training in permanent makeup in 2018 and went on to earn an esthetics license in Hawaii after graduating from Alluring Academy in August 2020. The salon says its mission is to help women reach their beauty goals.
The facial menu ranges from express treatments to peels, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion and radio frequency, with some facials combining LED light therapy, high frequency and extractions. Acne-focused TAEBAE services start with a virtual check-in and consultation before an in-person acne facial treatment or initial acne facial. Peptide programs begin with a review of each health history by a licensed medical provider; a treatment plan is approved only after that review, and payment is fully refunded if a client is not eligible. Approved prescriptions are shipped to the client's home, typically within 2 to 10 business days.
Permanent makeup includes ombre powder brows, eyeliner, lip blush and correction brows for work previously done by another artist. Tattoo removal is done by saline, which deposits saline into the skin with a sterile needle on a tattoo machine rather than using lasers, and usually takes several sessions.
The salon also trains beauty professionals in private or group lash and brow courses. Lash training requires a non-refundable deposit and attendees who are a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist, currently enrolled in school, or holding a permit. Training alumni receive a discount on future workshops and on products, and training dates are booked first come, first served.
The salon says its techniques are proven and its products are top-of-the-line, and it describes its mission as helping women reach their beauty goals.
