T. Salon

T. Salon opened in early 2016 as a collective booth rental salon. Stylists and service providers rent space there and run their own businesses, and each one is an independent contractor who handles their own bookings. The salon describes itself as home to the best service providers in the East Valley and says everyone on the team is kind, professional, and skilled at what they do.

The hair menu covers color, precision haircuts, lived-in blondes, color correction, curly hair extensions, and curly hair smoothing treatments. Providers also offer nails, skin care, and lash extensions. The salon carries Kevin Murphy products, sold both in the salon and online, along with Olaplex and K18 products for all hair types.

Clients book directly with each provider through the salon directory. The receptionist cannot book, cancel, or reschedule appointments, so questions about a specific provider's availability go to that provider. A virtual receptionist answers general questions seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm, and messages sent through the contact form may take up to 72 hours to get a response.

Renters can choose from 14 chairs, available on either a part-time or full-time basis, and refreshments and snacks are supplied to them.

The salon works as a collective, with each provider running an independent business and managing their own client bookings.
