T.G. Hair Studio

T.G. Hair Studio was established in June 2016 in Downtown San Diego by Tino Gabaldon, who founded it under his own brand as his clientele grew. Before opening his own studio, he worked at a well-known salon in Old Town.

The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Appointments are booked online through Vagaro, and the phone number is 858-952-2211.

The salon's work centers on two areas: precise, personalized men's cuts, and women's color and cuts built to be low-maintenance and dimensional. Men's and women's cuts, color, and highlights and balayage are the core services.

The studio also sells its own styling products, including moulding clay, defining cream, shaping paste, volumizing dust, texturizing clay, pomade, matte hair spray and sea salt spray, priced between $23.00 and $25.00 each. It also carries Unite Hair.

Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Changes made within 48 hours, including same-day changes, carry a 50% service fee charged to the card on file, which must be paid before a new appointment can be booked. Clients have a 15-minute grace period after their appointment time and are asked to let the salon know ahead of time if they will be late. Appointments not contacted within 15 minutes are canceled and treated as no-shows, with 50% of the service charged to the card on file.
