SYNRG was founded by Gerline G Jean-Louis, who goes by G, a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist. The studio describes itself as a corrective skin and makeup partner.

G started out in retail at Sephora, a beauty products retailer, and within about three years had become a freelance professional makeup artist. Her first clients were friends and people who referred them to her.

Every visit begins with an in-depth health and lifestyle consultation, and treatments are tailored to the individual's skin. The treatment menu includes microchanneling performed with a Procell device and AnteAGE MD Growth Factors, with an aftercare kit provided, along with LED light therapy, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, enzyme exfoliation and dermaplaning. Acne boot camp, extractions, masks and exfoliation are also listed. Visits close with product recommendations and follow-up appointments when needed.

Makeup services cover special occasions and events, for individuals and for parties, as well as brides and bridal parties, which are booked ahead of the wedding. Skincare consultations can also be done remotely over FaceTime or Zoom, including a health and lifestyle review, product recommendations and a full face consultation.

Treatments are shaped around each client's skin after an in-depth consultation, and the studio's brand partnerships support its in-office clinical treatments.
