Each service starts with an assessment of what the client's hair can handle. Major color changes such as lightening, high-lift or dramatic transformations need a consultation before they can be booked, while color retouches and all-over color can be booked directly. Prices are starting prices, since length, density and style complexity can change the time and cost, and any additional fee is disclosed before the service begins. The salon says every stylist is trained to clean, restore and style hair so that the look holds up between visits. Appointments are booked online, and clients manage them through the confirmation they receive.
The salon's hair care routine, which it calls The Great Hair Restart, is described as a three-step system: cleanse, restore and style. The salon describes the system as patented. The products used in it include Replenish Shampoo at $24.00, a Conditioner with Reset Leave-In, Bloom Glaze, which seals shine, and Stay Mousse at $22.00, which defines and holds. A Travel Reset Kit at $40.00 holds all five products in the routine. The products are stated to contain no drying alcohols, harsh sulfates, parabens or animal ingredients. They are available for pickup or delivery, and orders of $75 or more ship free.
Clients looking for locs are asked to arrive with hair cleansed, detangled and free of heavy product buildup. Retwists cover maintenance only and do not include styling, repairs, resectioning or major detangling. Kids are asked to arrive with detangled hair and to be able to sit comfortably through the appointment.
Natural hair care is the whole practice, covering all textures and densities, with each service starting from an assessment of what the client's hair can handle.
