The studio uses organic sugaring, a paste made from sugar, lemon and water. The business presents sugaring as a maintenance routine that tends to improve over time, and recommends a consistent schedule of every 4 to 6 weeks for long-term results. It also says sugaring suits all skin types and is especially suitable for sensitive skin.
Before a sugaring appointment, clients are asked to let hair grow to about the length of a grain of rice, roughly three weeks, and to avoid shaving, trimming or other removal in between. The studio also asks clients to gently exfoliate the area 24 to 48 hours before, but not on the same day, to skip lotions, oils and deodorant on the treatment area that day, and to avoid sun and tanning for 24 hours beforehand. Clients who menstruate may still book, and those prone to sensitivity may prefer to book 3 to 5 days before their cycle begins.
Facials range from a 30-minute Mini or Express Facial to an Advanced Facial that may include microdermabrasion, high frequency, dermaplaning or a chemical peel after a skin analysis. Chemical peel facials are not a first facial; a first visit includes a skin analysis and consultation. The studio is open Monday and Tuesday 9 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 12 PM to 8 PM, Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM. For specific dates or same-day openings, clients are asked to text or call.
Built around organic sugaring as a repeat maintenance routine, with a focus on skin care and comfort. Booking is open to women and men.
