Sweet Peach was founded by Raquel Souza, a licensed esthetician who brought sugaring hair removal to Atlanta. The first studio opened in Virginia Highlands in 2012, and a Buckhead location followed in 2014. The studio now has locations in Vinings, Sandy Springs, Chamblee and Johns Creek. Laser hair removal is offered at Buckhead, Virginia Highlands and Vinings, while Sandy Springs and Chamblee focus on wax and sugaring.

The studio describes itself as the first spa in Georgia to use sugaring hair removal, and says its clients include media personalities and A-list celebrities.

Sugaring is applied by hand with gloves, while hard wax goes on with wooden sticks. Sugaring pulls hair in the direction it grows, while waxing pulls against it. Product is never reused, treatment spaces are sanitized, and bed coverings are replaced between clients. Children and babies are not permitted in treatment rooms or the waiting room, and clients arriving more than 10 minutes late are not guaranteed their appointment.

Before a wax or sugaring visit, clients are asked to stop topical retinol and alpha hydroxy products about 7 to 10 days ahead. First-time clients should not shave for at least 10 days, ideally two weeks, and visits are recommended three to four weeks apart. Clients who have taken Accutane internally cannot have any body part waxed, and those using topical Accutane on the face cannot have facial waxing.

Laser clients shave 24 hours before treatment, avoid tweezing, waxing or depilatory creams for three weeks or less before, and skip sun exposure and sunless tanning products for four weeks before. After treatment they avoid the sun for a week and wear SPF 30 or higher daily. Screening exclusions are listed on the studio's FAQ page. Spray tans use a natural solution with white tea extract, aloe and chamomile, customized to skin type; results last about 5 to 7 days, and touch-ups are only available on the day of the appointment.

Hair is removed with a natural sugaring paste applied by hand and pulled in the direction of growth, using single-use product and sanitized treatment spaces.
