According to the studio, each treatment is tailored to the individual client. The sugar type is chosen according to the client's hair type and the area being treated, and the studio says it uses the highest grade of sugar for all hair removal. The paste is made from sugar, lemon juice and water, and is applied at body temperature using a hand-held method. The esthetician discards the paste used on each client.
Every service includes tweezing and ingrown hair extraction, along with a sequence of plant-based aftercare products: a hydrating cleanse, a soothing ointment, a calming tonic and a CBD balm. Brazilian and bikini services also include a mask with vitamins, enzymes and amino acids.
Before a visit, clients are asked to let hair grow at least three weeks, avoid caffeine that day, and arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or creams. Afterward, the studio advises avoiding heat such as hot tubs, saunas and sun exposure, along with strenuous workouts, for 24 to 48 hours. Clients are also asked to wait at least 48 hours before sexual activity and to begin exfoliating three days after treatment.
The studio says sugaring is less painful and causes less skin trauma than other hair removal methods, and that its sugar paste is hypoallergenic, biodegradable and free of preservatives and chemicals. It also states that regular sugaring every four to six weeks leaves hair finer and thinner over time. Rebook pricing is listed for returning clients, and a free underarm sugaring is offered to clients who refer a friend, applied at their next appointment. Appointments are booked through the studio's online booking page, and free street parking is available.
