The Elmhurst studio is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11am to 6pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Online booking requires a credit card to reserve an appointment, and payment is taken after the service. Cancellations or rescheduling need 24 hours' notice by phone to avoid a charge, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full cost of the service to the card on file. Tips for stylists are accepted in cash only.
Brow waxing and threading are the core of the menu, with options to add a lip, henna tint or both. The henna brow stain colors the skin and brow hairs; the skin stain can last up to 14 days and the hair tint up to four weeks, depending on skin type. Oily skin tends to make henna fade faster. Clients are asked not to wax or tweeze the brows for two weeks or more before a henna appointment, to avoid spray tan or tinted moisturizer on the face and brows beforehand, and to skip makeup wipes, oils and clarisonic devices over the brows for at least two weeks afterward. Henna can look darker for the first 24 to 48 hours.
The brow lift relaxes and trains brow hairs to grow upward and follow their natural curve. It suits curly brows, brows whose hairs grow downward, and clients who want fuller, more manageable brows. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Waxing is not recommended for clients using certain prescription acne or retinoid treatments, or who have recently had a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or Botox.
Lash services include a tint, a removal, a mini lash fill for one-week maintenance, a keratin lash lift that lasts up to 6 to 8 weeks, and a lift combined with a tint. Salon services are not refunded, but if a concern is reported within three days, the client returns for inspection and the service can be corrected by rescheduling. Corrections are free if requested within two weeks of the first service. The business reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
