Surreal Beauty was founded in 2008 by Melanie and Danielle, who still co-own the salon. The salon describes itself as Nashville's top Aveda salon and sells Aveda retail products.
The master stylists focus on premium extensions, custom color and Brazilian blowouts. Foil placement is worked out for each client, taking into account natural tone, the brightness they want, their color history and how much upkeep they are willing to do.
Parking is in the attached garage, in spots marked for retail, and the garage parking is validated with a QR code inside the salon. Bridal appointments need clean, dry hair, and blowouts are not included in any bridal hair service.
Color and foil appointments are tailored around each client's base shade, how light they want to go, what their hair has been through with color before, and how much upkeep they're hoping to manage.
The salon describes its space as refined and expressive, meant to feel welcoming from arrival to finish.
