Sunshine Wax Studio

Sunshine Wax Studio is a waxing studio at 39825 Alta Murrieta Drive, Suite 707, in Murrieta, inside Salon Republic at Murrieta Town Center. It is open Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed Monday through Wednesday. Walk-ins are not accepted, and the studio can be reached by phone at (951) 973-1089.

New clients fill out a form before their first appointment. Returning clients fill it out again if three months or more have passed since their last visit. On arrival, clients stay in their car and text the studio for further instructions. Appointments are not squeezed in, which leaves time to clean and sanitize the room and equipment between clients. No extra guests are allowed in the room during a service.

The studio offers Brazilian waxing and facial waxing and uses only hard wax, which is resin-free, hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty free. For a first wax, hair should have at least three weeks of growth since the last shave or trim, and returning every four to six weeks is recommended. Clients are asked to avoid caffeine and alcohol before an appointment and to skip numbing cream. Waxing during a period is allowed, or clients can book for a week after it ends. Clients are advised to wax at least three days before a tanning salon visit. Sunburned, irritated or open-skin areas cannot be waxed, and anyone unsure whether they have a contraindication can email the studio for a consultation.

Cancellations and reschedules are requested at least one day ahead, and a $25.00 fee may apply otherwise. A no-call, no-show is charged 100% of the booked services and requires prepayment for future services. Late arrivals may need to reschedule, and a $25 fee still applies. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and need guardian consent to be waxed, and Brazilian waxing is not offered to anyone under 18. Gift cards are sold for $25, $50, $75 or $100, or in a custom amount, through Square.

The studio waxes with a hard wax that is resin-free, hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty free, and keeps appointments unhurried so the room and equipment can be cleaned and sanitized between clients.
