Each visit begins with a consultation about the client's hair, scalp and how long they want the style to last. The studio works one client at a time in a private chair, in a quiet space where clients are welcome to play their own music.

The menu covers protective braids, twists and locs, cornrows, and styling for natural hair and kids. Kids ages 4 to 12 are welcome, and the studio is patient with first-timers and young clients.

Prices are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and length of the style. Color can be added to braids, with shades such as 30, 27 or burgundy, or applied to the ends only.

Installs are kept light at the root, using knotless methods with no tension at the root. The studio says its braids are not too tight and that the edges are never sacrificed for the style.
