Sunshine Aesthetics

Cara founded Sunshine Aesthetics to give clients a private space where they feel comfortable and looked after. Because it is a one-on-one studio, visits are not shared with other clients, and treatments are not rushed.

Brow services include Brow Shape + Tint, a 30-minute service at $40, and Brow Shape + Hybrid Stain, a 40-minute service at $75. The hybrid stain lasts longer and can be adjusted from a soft, defined look to a fuller finish. Lash services, including lamination, are also offered under the brows and lashes group.

The facial menu starts with The Express Glow, a 30-minute facial from $50 that is tailored to the client's main skin concern. The Signature Glow is a 50-minute customized facial at $79 that cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates. The Radiance Glow runs 1 hour 15 minutes at $89 and focuses on advanced exfoliation. The Autumn Glow is a seasonal 1-hour facial at $119, offered in October and November. It includes a customized cleanse and skin assessment, a honey and pumpkin enzyme treatment with microdermabrasion, a whipped marshmallow mask, high frequency, facial massage and finishing products chosen for the client.

Before any treatment, skin needs are reviewed at a consultation, and each facial, brow service and waxing appointment is adjusted to the client's skin, goals and comfort level. Professional-grade skincare products are selected for a range of skin types, and the products used are explained during the appointment. Parking is available, and arrival instructions are sent after booking. Late arrivals may have appointments shortened or need to be rescheduled, so clients are asked to call as soon as they know they will be late.

Intimate Waxing, which takes 15 to 30 minutes and starts at $28, is offered to female clients only. For waxing, hair should be about a quarter inch long. Most waxing clients book every 4 to 6 weeks to keep results. Hours are Sundays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with select appointments available outside those hours.
