About

Sunrise Salt Cave describes itself as a holistic wellness space built around natural therapies that support the body's own healing. Its mission centers on relaxation services that use newer modalities, with halotherapy as a core offering and all-natural pain relief alongside it. The business describes its experience as different from a typical spa visit.

Salt therapy, also called halotherapy, means breathing air carrying fine salt particles in a salt room. A salt booth session lasts 20 minutes for $25, and a full salt room session lasts 45 minutes for $40, with a couple salt room at $70. Treatments take place in a salt cave that is calm, quiet and restful.

Floating takes place in a tank of warm water saturated with Epsom salts, and sessions typically run 60 to 90 minutes. A 60-minute float is $80 and a 90-minute float is $120, with couples floats at $140 and $200. The infrared sauna is offered for $40 for 60 minutes or $70 for a couple. The website advises keeping infrared sauna sessions to 20 to 30 minutes and suggests anyone with a heart condition check with a doctor first.

Massage and therapeutic services include foot reflexology, scalp and hand massage, a 60-minute facial lift, and therapeutic pain relief that uses acupoint massage in the salt cave. Acupoint herbal heat, also known as moxibustion, involves burning dried moxa herb near or on acupoints, and ginger herbal heat therapy is also available. The Face Lift & Red Light Therapy combines facial massage with red light therapy.

Bookings are made online through a Square booking page, and cancellations or reschedules are handled by calling the office at (636) 717-7777. Combination packages pair salt, foot, sauna and float sessions, and series of 5 or 10 sessions are available for salt booth, salt room and float. Gift cards are sold as eGift cards in amounts of $50, $100, $150, $200 or a custom amount, and can be sent to yourself, by text or by email.
