Sugaring uses a paste made from sugar, lemon and water. The paste clings to hair and dead skin but not to live skin, and it dissolves in water, which makes cleanup simple. Hair is pulled from the root: the paste is spread against the direction of growth and lifted with it. The studio describes this as gentler on the skin than traditional waxing and says it can help reduce ingrown hairs. Results typically last three to six weeks, depending on hair growth and how regularly appointments are kept. The top of the head is not sugared; treatment areas run from the forehead down.

Before a visit, clients are asked to exfoliate two days ahead and arrive with clean, dry skin, free of lotion, oil and deodorant. Shaving between appointments is discouraged, and caffeine and alcohol are best avoided that day. For clients who feel nervous or sensitive, over-the-counter pain relievers taken 20 to 30 minutes beforehand are suggested. Afterward, gentle exfoliation can start about two days later, with daily moisturizer. For the first 24 hours, the studio advises against heavy sweating, workouts, pools, hot tubs, saunas, sun exposure, and lotion, oil, deodorant or fragrance on the treated area. Retin-A should be paused five to seven days beforehand, or a full week for facial sugaring, and the studio does not recommend sugaring for clients taking Accutane. Clients may book during their period, with a tampon or menstrual cup advised.

New gloves are used for every service, and the studio does not double dip. Texting is the preferred way to reach the team. Round Rock is open Tuesday through Saturday with shifting hours between 10am and 6pm, and Newport News is open Tuesday through Saturday, roughly 9am to 7pm depending on the day. Both locations are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Hair is removed from the root using a sugar paste that is applied against the direction of growth and lifted in the direction hair grows, with the studio presenting it as a gentler alternative to waxing.
