The studio is a boutique-style space built around custom spray tanning and was founded by Lisa Paige, who previously worked as a syndicated radio host. Its tans are designed to give a glow without UV rays, and the solutions are curated for women only.

To visit, head upstairs in the Salon Suites and walk through the double glass doors at the top of the stairs. The studio is closed on Mondays. Weekend appointments are by appointment only and are requested by text or email.

Preparation matters for a good result. Clients are asked to avoid shaving, waxing and exfoliating for at least a day beforehand, shower at least three hours before (ideally more than twelve), and skip lotions, oils, makeup, deodorant and perfume that day. Moisturizing a few days ahead, but not on the day, is recommended. Massages, facials and manicures or pedicures should be booked at least a day before the tan. Wear loose dark clothing and flip flops or slides rather than closed-toe shoes. In rain, bring an umbrella and loose long sleeves or reschedule, since the studio is not responsible for rain that reaches freshly sprayed skin.

Aftercare is laid out step by step. Clients rinse after one to three hours of development, pat dry, and avoid hot water, shower gels, scrubs, shampoos and loofahs for 24 hours. A non-oil moisturizer is used daily along with plenty of water, and a soft body scrub can start after day five. The solutions contain no SPF, so sunscreen is advised, and chlorine or salt water can strip color quickly, so swimming is best avoided before and after.

Each custom tan is adjusted to the client's skin tone, and the studio describes its spray tans as a way to get a glow without UV rays.
