Lena began doing hair in 2008, after attending a cosmetology program in Frederick while still in high school, and went straight behind the chair after graduating. Advanced training in cutting, color and extensions has shaped the services offered. Color work centers on dimensional results that are less demanding to maintain.

New guests can start with the Guide Me consultation, a 30-minute appointment for $25 in which the stylist sees the hair in person before pricing and timing are set. It is recommended for major color correction or overprocessed hair. Guests who are unsure what to book can fill out a questionnaire through the contact page. Hair extensions require an in-person consultation before any service. Final prices can differ from the online quote based on hair density and length, and any change is disclosed before services begin. Clients are asked not to wash their hair beforehand and to arrive without root cover, with hair brushed and detangled.

For new guests, the Refresh Me package ($275, about 2.5 hours) covers gray hair and roots, refreshes the ends with gloss toner, and includes a haircut. It suits clients matching their current color or going darker. Brighten Me (from $375, about 4 hours) adds highlights around the face and top of the head with gloss, treatment and a haircut. Transform Me (from $475, about 5 hours) covers full-head highlights and or lowlights. Keratin smoothing ($350) and keratin straightening ($500, with a $100 deposit) are also offered. A credit card on file is required to book. Changes should be made at least 48 hours ahead, and cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50 percent of the booked services. No-shows are charged the full total. Refunds are not offered, but concerns about a service can be raised within 7 days.
