The business began as a storefront for an online hair business, with the space divided into separate rooms. Traveling stylists who asked to set up for the weekend led the owners to start renting out suites. The founder previously worked in corporate America for Fortune 500 companies. Since 2019 the business has opened four locations, and the Buckhead / Piedmont site was the original.

The Sandy Springs location at 7855 Roswell Rd has 37 private suites across two floors. Upstairs holds salon suites for hair and beauty professionals. Downstairs holds professional suites in a quiet, clean white setting, with a built-in workstation and access to shared shampoo bowls, water stations and a dryer area. The Buckhead / Piedmont location at 1874 Piedmont Ave has 7 private suites.

Suite types include window suites, single suites with or without a built-in shampoo bowl and sink, double suites, and downstairs pro suites. Select upstairs suites have shampoo bowls and sinks built in, and upstairs suites have private, lockable in-suite sinks where available. Each suite is private and lockable, with a key for each tenant. Electric, water and WiFi are included in the rate, along with on-site laundry at no extra charge. Free parking is available for tenants and their clients, and the building is described as secure and monitored. Suite access is available around the clock, and clients go directly to the tenant's suite since there is no front desk or check-in.

Tenants set their own prices, book their own clients and keep all of their earnings, with no commission or revenue sharing. They may personalize or decorate their suites. To move in, prospective tenants take a tour, choose a suite, pay a deposit and move in. Applicants are contacted within 24 hours to schedule a tour. Visitors can also book a private 15-minute tour, either guided or self-guided, through Calendly.
