Carly owns the studio and is its sole operator, so every appointment is with her. The studio makes its own sugar paste in-house by boiling sugar, water and lemon juice, instead of buying mass-produced paste. The studio also sells this paste to individuals and to professionals.

Visits are booked by service, with listed times: Brazilian takes 30 minutes, full leg takes 55 minutes, and the three-area Dolphin Special takes 90 minutes. The paste is applied at room temperature or slightly warmed, against the direction of hair growth, and removed along the direction of growth. Carly uses gloves and one piece of paste per area, with no double dipping. Clients whose hair is too short are still charged for the appointment.

The studio describes sugaring as gentler than waxing and says its paste is less sticky than others. It also says mass-produced paste from online distributors often uses more water and less sugar or lemon. These are the studio's own claims.

The studio recommends about two weeks of hair growth before a first appointment and sugaring every four to five weeks. Each session is described as removing hair for about two weeks, with regrowth starting between weeks three and four.
