Sugaring House Vienna

Sugaring House began in a single treatment room founded by Rina Roberts, and has since grown into two studios. The Sterling studio is the original location and its largest treatment space. The Vienna studio is a smaller, quieter suite that uses the same organic sugaring method and the same treatment standards. The business has served clients in Northern Virginia since 2017 and says it has served more than 60,000 clients.

The signature service is organic body sugaring, which the business presents as a gentler option than waxing. The sugaring paste is made from sugar, lemon and water, without strips, resins or harsh chemicals. Sugaring is generally recommended about every four to six weeks, and Brazilian sugaring results are described as lasting about four to six weeks.

Most work is by appointment. Sugaring, facials and lash services do not require a consultation, while laser, microneedling and permanent makeup include a free consultation first. Clients are asked to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early, especially on a first visit, and to give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee. Walk-ins are sometimes accommodated, so calling ahead is advised. Payment is due at the visit and can be made by major credit card, debit card or cash.

Facial and skin care treatments use professional-grade, dermatologist-tested lines such as GM Collin. At the Vienna studio, Brazilian and bikini sugaring are done in private appointments with certified estheticians, and facials can be booked alongside a sugaring visit in a single trip. Spa treatments listed include an oxygenating facial, Botox, fillers, massage and tattoo removal.

Sugaring House Beauty Academy runs esthetics training in a working spa with real clients, at both Sterling and Vienna. Programs include esthetics licensing preparation, master esthetics licensing preparation, nail technician, waxing, sugaring, eyelash extension, eyelash lifting and eyebrow lamination, and prepare students for the Virginia esthetics licensing exam. Students practice in a Student Clinic under supervision.

Staff take time to learn about each client's skin concerns, goals and comfort level before recommending a treatment.
