Sugared Peach Studio is located at 6700 Indiana Ave., Suite 252, in Riverside, inside the Peach Beauty Suites building. Services are by appointment only. The name draws on Georgia, where the owner grew up.

Sugaring removes hair from the root using a paste of sugar, water and lemon, applied warm. The studio describes its sugaring as natural, safe and effective, less painful than traditional waxing, and never hot enough to burn the skin. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice or longer. Results are described as lasting two to three weeks, and the studio recommends booking every four weeks. Sugaring can be done on the whole body, including during menstruation.

The menus cover face and body sugaring, a body sugar scrub with essential oils, body facials aimed at skin concerns such as acne, scarring, ingrown hair and dry or rough skin, and an Express Facial and Custom Facial for the face. Manscaping services are offered for men.

Booking requires a $20 deposit per service, which is deducted from the total. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice; short-notice cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit. Hours are Monday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Before a sugaring visit, clients are asked to skip exfoliating the day before, the day of and the day after, drink plenty of fluids, avoid caffeine and arrive with clean skin free of oils or moisturizers. Afterward, clients should wait 48 hours before exfoliating and then exfoliate regularly, avoid direct sun for 24 to 48 hours, and avoid baths, swimming, friction and heavy sweating or exercise for 24 hours.

The studio aims to give each client careful treatment with high-quality products and attentive service, with the goal of helping clients feel confident, comfortable and empowered in their bodies.
